LCC Analysis

LCC analysis (Life Cycle Cost) is a method of assessing the total costs of implementing an investment project consisting of:

  • construction of new buildings,
  • installing new systems, machines and devices,
  • modernization of individual elements or systems in existing buildings,
  • purchase or replacement of existing production or service machines/equipment.

They take into account investment costs, operating costs, maintenance costs, costs related to dismantling and disposal after technical end of life.

LCC analyses cover technical, economic and environmental aspects.

The aim of the LCC analysis is to indicate a solution that, over the entire life of the building, equipment, or machine, will provide the best balance of costs and results, and not just the lowest initial cost.
